- Preparation-Boil - 8 cups milk (or water), 1tsp. salt (optional) and 1-1/2 cups of Maypo Quick Cream Farina will produce 8 servings. Heat milk (or water) and salt (optional) to a rapid boil. Slowly stir in Maypo Quick Cream Farina. Return to a boil. Reduce heat to a gentle boil for 2 to 3 minutes or until desired consistency. Stir frequently to prevent milk from scalding. Remove from heat and cover until ready to serve.
